Student Voice Team Excursion to Toolangi State Forest
The Student Voice Team had a great (and chilly) day recently on an excursion to Toolangi State Forest, where they connected with nature and each other in a truly special way. The day was filled with beautiful moments, from spotting lyrebirds in their natural habitat to marvelling at the stunning ferns and funky fungi that dot the forest floor. One of the highlights was standing in awe of the Kalatha Tree, the oldest tree in Victoria. Wowee!
This excursion not only offered a chance to explore the natural wonders of Toolangi, but also helped strengthen the bond and teamwork within the Student Voice Team and celebrate their commitment so far in these roles. It was a perfect opportunity to step away from the usual routine, spend time in nature, and continue to develop our student leader’s capacity for facing challenges and leading the way.
