NGV Teens: Art Party
On Saturday 10 August from 6–9pm, the National Gallery of Victoria is opening its doors exclusively to teens for NGV Teens: Art Party at NGV International (180 St Kilda Road, Melbourne).
This exciting event for secondary school-aged students brings like-minded teens together to explore the NGV after-hours and enjoy a night of dancing, workshops, performances and inspiring talks. We are thrilled to invite your students to attend.
By opening the doors exclusively to this demographic, NGV aims to cultivate a lifelong appreciation for art and creativity among teens, encouraging them to explore their own artistic interests, perspectives and meet new people on an unforgettable night.
Tickets are now on sale and are $25 for high school students with valid secondary school ID or Victorian Student Pass. The event is fully inclusive and wheelchair accessible.
Highlights of the night include:
– Music performances by DJ Claire Knight and teen singer-songwriter, Indiana Lewis
– Art making workshops
– Exclusive tour of the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces® exhibition Pharaoh with expert Dr Becky Clifton
– Photobooth to capture the night
