Year 10 PE Excursions
Year 10 PE Excursions
This term, our Year 10 students delved into the world of lifelong sports as part of their Physical Education curriculum. To enrich their learning experience, they were given the opportunity to venture into our local community and actively participate in various activities.
Among the exciting destinations visited were the Yarra Bend Golf Course, Red Triangle Snooker Room, and Fitzroy Bowls Club. Each venue offered a unique insight into different lifelong sports, allowing students to engage in activities they may not have experienced before.
The feedback from both students and staff has been overwhelmingly positive, with everyone expressing their enjoyment and appreciation for these excursions. Not only did the students have a lot of fun, but they also gained valuable insights into the importance of staying active and exploring different sporting pursuits. These excursions not only fostered a deeper understanding of lifelong sports but also encouraged teamwork, sportsmanship, and a sense of community among our students.
We extend our gratitude to the venues visited for their hospitality and for providing our students with memorable experiences. We look forward to continuing to provide our students with engaging and meaningful learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.
