Swimming Carnival 2024

The 2024 Swimming Carnival at Fitzroy Pool was a great success, with students showing talent, teamwork, and spirited competition throughout the day.

We got the ball rolling with the House Fashion Parade, an event that added a splash of creativity to the day before we travelled across to Fitzroy Swimming Pool. Adding to the thrill, the Big Splash competition became a highlight, featuring plenty of perfect 10s handed out by judge Linda Mitchell. The daring bombs and spectacular splashes showcased the students’ courage and flair, making for a fun event.

Beyond these novelty events, the pool echoed with cheers and encouragement as students showcased their swimming prowess in various events. Congratulations to all participants, whether they secured victory or simply swam their personal best. The success of the 2024 Swimming Carnival was a collective effort, made possible by the students, staff, and parents who came together to make it a day to remember. But there could only be one winner… Congratulations to Gold House, who took the win with 328 points! Followed by Blue (302), Green (200) and then Red (175). However, it’s not over yet!

Stay tuned for more information regarding the 2024 House Championship – who will be on top come Term 4?

Sincerely,

Mitchell Busby

Sports Coordinator
