Year 9 Excursion to Pearson Publishers
As part of our continued partnership with The Smith Family and their Growing Careers Program some of our Year 9 students were lucky enough to take part in a two day excursion at Pearson Publishers. Pearson is a multinational leader in the publishing, assessment and online learning industry. Over the course of the two days our students explored the range of careers that exist within a large company like Pearson, developed their collaborative skills and learned the functioning aspects of working on team based projects. On day two our students were lucky enough to contribute to a real life Pearson project team and received feedback on their contribution and the key skills they demonstrated. Our students were delighted to have had this experience and hopefully it has opened new doors of future possibilities for them.
