Centre for Italian Studies Poetry Recitation Competition
Late in Term 3, 40 Year 7 and 8 students participated in the Centre for Italian Studies Poetry Recitation Competition. This competition brings together over 800 students from across Victoria and provides an invaluable opportunity to challenge students’ presentation skills in front of a judge.
Thank you to Olie and Rocco, our wonderful Italian teachers, who spent lunchtimes preparing students for the competition and building their confidence before the big day.
We are thrilled to announce that two students achieved placings in the competition. In the Year 8 non-Italian category, Murray H achieved third prize, and in the Year 7 non-Italian section, Peregrine FW came first.
We are very proud of both of these students and cannot wait to award them their certificates and prizes, along with certificates for all other students who participated in the competition.
Tantissimi auguri!
