Art & Technology Update
We are well into the term, and our students have been busy exploring their creativity!
- Year 8 Visual Communication students have been learning about isometric drawing as part of their chair design project.
- In our Sculpture Extend, students have just completed their surrealist mask sculptures. Some amazing works have been created.

Year 9/10 Extend Surrealist mask project
Students created masks by experimenting with different materials to get inspiration, and eventually create a surrealist vision where they make conscious choices to represent an idea through the use of materials, colour and shape. Students documented their work as they went along.

Students also participated in the ‘Exquisite corpse’ collaborative drawing game, a party favourite invented by surrealist artists in 1920.
