Instrumental Music Program
The music program is well and truly underway at Fitzroy High with a wide range of instrumental lessons and ensembles on offer. Individual classes are available for guitar, bass, drums, violin, voice, piano, saxophone, flute and clarinet. Whilst the enrolment period for 2024 has closed, we are always open to expressions of interest and will accommodate new students where possible.
The school has four ensembles on offer which are open to all students regardless of whether they are enrolled for music lessons at the school. These are Percussion Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Keyboard Ensemble and the Falconer St Band. New members are always welcome, every level of ability catered for.
Our first concert for the year is scheduled for Tuesday 14th May starting at 6pm. The program will feature all four ensembles plus as many instrumental solo items as possible. Please add this to your diaries!
