Dear school community
As part of National Reconciliation Week, Wurundjeri elder, Uncle Perry Wandin will be performing a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony on Thursday June 1 at 11.30am in the school amphiteatre. This has been organised with the Wurundjeri Tribe Land and Compensation Cultural Heritage Council Inc. by the Year 11 VCAL students. All are welcome to attend, including families. Staff are invited to bring their classes. There will also be BBQ on Friday June 2 at lunchtime.
All parents, students and staff are invited to our music evening on Tuesday, 20th June at 6 pm. The night will feature performances by students in the following school ensembles:
Junior Guitar Ensemble
Senior Guitar Ensemble
Falconer Street Band
The venue for the event is “The Spotted Mallard” located at 314 Sydney Road, Brunswick. The renowned Spotted Mallard kitchen will be open for dinner so make your booking and join in the fun! Doors open at 6 pm and performances start at 7.00 pm. Tickets for general admission are $10 per person and can be purchased online using the link below. Students performing on the night do not need to purchase tickets.
